Have a question?

For Parents: Understanding your child’s development and when to seek support.

While every child develops at their own pace, persistent delays in speech, behavior, or social interaction usually require professional support. Early intervention gives children the best chance to build foundational skills and prevent challenges from becoming more complex over time. If you’re unsure, it’s best to speak with a specialist as soon as possible.

If you have concerns but don’t know exactly what’s going on, the first step is to schedule a screening appointment with Dr. Adrienne Robek, our Clinical Director. During this session, she will observe your child, discuss your concerns, and recommend the most appropriate services—whether that’s speech therapy, ABA, occupational therapy, or another type of support.

Not necessarily. Many children begin therapy based on observed developmental concerns. Our team can guide you in identifying what your child needs, and formal assessments are only recommended if they’re necessary to guide school support, accommodations, or specific interventions.

Not at all. While early intervention is important, children and teenagers of all ages can benefit from therapy. Whether it's support for communication, behavior, social skills, emotional regulation, or academic challenges like dyslexia, we tailor our services to each child’s age and developmental stage.

Many of the children we work with have limited speech or feel overwhelmed in new environments at first. Our therapists are trained to build trust gradually, using play-based, low-pressure techniques. Over time, most children begin to engage, communicate, and build confidence at their own pace.
