Early Intervention Program
What Is the Early Intervention Program?
Jumpstart Center’s Early Intervention (EI) Program is designed for young children up to 6 years of age who need extra support during the most critical stages of development. Operating Sunday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the program combines therapeutic expertise with a structured classroom environment to help children build the core skills needed for school readiness and everyday life.
Each class is limited to just six children, ensuring individualized attention and support. Led by a trained educator and a teaching assistant, the program integrates therapy services from Speech and Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), with every child following their own Individualized Education Program (IEP).
Our program offers two options:
- A blended model combining one-on-one therapy and group intervention
- A group-only model with embedded therapeutic support throughout the day

What Does the EI Program Involve?
Our child-centered, multidisciplinary program focuses on five essential areas:
-
Classroom Routines & Transitions
Children learn to follow daily routines, transition smoothly between activities, and participate in group settings with confidence. -
Social Behavior & Play Skills
We promote age-appropriate play, turn-taking, cooperative interactions, and emotional development through guided social play. -
Pre-Academic Skills
Targeted activities build foundational skills such as motor imitation, labeling, listening, and following directions—preparing children for future academic learning. -
Self-Help & Independence
We support independence through guided routines in dressing, grooming, toileting, and mealtime habits, fostering autonomy and self-confidence. -
Individualized Goals with Expert Oversight
Each child’s progress is tracked through their personalized IEP, which is reviewed and updated three times per year. The program is supervised by Dr. Adrienne Robek, ensuring that every child receives high-quality, evidence-based care tailored to their needs.
